Procedures
Permanent makeup is a technique through which an individual implants pigments, formulated for the face, through the epidermal into the dermal layer of the facial skin. This process inputs permanent colored pigments into eyebrows, eyes, lips, and cheek areas.
Eyebrows
The shape, thickness and color of the client's eyebrows will be discussed at the time of the consultation/procedure. On the day of the procedure the client has the option of either drawing on the eyebrows prior to arriving at the appointment or she can wait and have the nurse draw the eyebrows on for her when she arrives. Anesthetic will be topical and injections.

On the day of the procedure the client has the option of either wearing their eyeliner to the appointment or she can wait and have the nurse apply it when she arrives. Anesthetic will be topical numbing cream and infiltrations (injections).
lips
The shape and color of the lips will be discussed at the time of the consultations. The client may draw on the shape that they want prior to arrival or they can wait and the nurse may draw on the shape for the client. It is important that anyone who has had herpes simplex viruses and/or has had a cold sore take the prescription medicine Famvir®(anti-viral) prior to the procedure. Another option is to purchase L-Lysine, an over the counter vitamin that seems to inhibit cold sores. Anesthetic will be a combination of topical numbing cream and injections.
microblading
Also know as Microstroking, Eyebrow Embroidery, Brow Resurrection.
Microblading (or eyebrow embroidery) is a relatively new, manual method. It is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional hairstroke technique. It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. Because we're impacting color closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no "spilling" under the skin.
This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. People suffering from alopecia, trichotillomania or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from Microblading, as well as people who simply aren't happy with their eyebrows.
The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow color, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them. The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a two week period. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.
The results can last anywhere from 18 months to 2 years depending on different factors affecting the procedure.
